I stand with Sen. Tammy Baldwin

In the US Senate last week, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI) spoke some serious truth to power:

“The truth is, while you hear a lot about the wide distance between Democrats and Republicans, the widest and most important distance in our political system is between the content of the debate here in Washington and the concerns of working families in places like Wisconsin. That distance parallels the large and growing gaps between the rich and the poor … between rising costs and stagnant incomes … between our nation and our competitors when it comes to education and innovation. And it’s really hurting people.”

Finally there is a Democrat in Washington who has the brains and guts to say it like it is. We need more like Tammy, I’m proud that she is from Wisconsin, she certainly outshines some of the twits in Wi, Walker and Johnson to name a couple. I’m anxious to see others in Washington to stand up with Tammy and do what needs to be done to get out government back in the hands of “We the People.”
